The same business owner, known for operating a local lodge in the POC area, was recently spotted at a relatively new and trendy establishment we'll refer to as "Owens." Owens is both a restaurant and bar, known for its modern vibe. The lodge owner, "K," who frequently records video clips at his lodge, was reportedly filming content at Owens, seemingly highlighting what he perceived as poor service. During this, a patron we'll call "Cayla" approached "K" and asked him to stop filming, suggesting that such actions were harmful to the business. According to witnesses, "K" responded by calling Cayla an offensive name. Cayla happens to be married to a part-time POC resident we'll name "Danny." Word around town is that Danny later shared a post on Facebook recounting parts of the incident, including what transpired when "K" attempted to leave Owens later that evening. The post has since sparked conversations within the community.
There were two dispatched calls that evening made to the Calhoun County emergency ems and fire.
The first call was placed by someone at "Owens" and saw the interaction between the two, possibly a staff member and reported an injured person who was attacked at Owens and the suspects were still on the scene...
The next call was from the supposed victim and identified as the lodge owner "K". He reports being attacked by brass knuckles when exiting the bar by a local patron.
